BEING a disabled driver I am one of those people for whom a parking bay is a necessity because of the width it allows me to transfer from chair to my car and back.

The supermarket disabled bays are not always free, and abused by people who are too lazy to park elsewhere. Would they take my disability as well as my disabled bay?

When I phone the store to complain they say, 'we have a delivery service for the benefit of people like you', as though we are different. I may have lost my leg, but not my independence. Have these stores listened to our problems, or have they listened to the business plan?
