SPORTS Minister Richard Caborn will visit Burnley next month to take part in a sponsored fun day at a school.
He will be visiting Padiham St Leonard's Primary School on June 9 to take in a SpeedMark event.
SpeedMark organise sporting events that help raise money on behalf of schools through sponsored sports events.
Nick Palich, marketing manager for SpeedMark said: "Schools have found that we provide a fun filled day as well as helping them raise substantial funds for their school.
"The beauty of it is that there is next to nothing for the school to organise.
"We provide all the equipment, paperwork and staff to run the event."
Headteacher Julie Bradley said: "Our school raised £2,000 through a SpeedMark event. This has enabled us to buy much needed sports equipment."
