STAFF at Pendle Council will be raising money for charity this Friday - by wearing their favourite hat to work and making a donation to Macmillan Cancer Relief.
Big-hearted staff will enter into the spirit of 'Wear a Hat to Work Day' at offices around Pendle including Nelson and Colne Town Halls.
Organiser Rachael Haworth, promotions assistant for Pendle Council, said: "It's a perfect opportunity for everyone to dust off their hats, or buy a new one.
"I hope we can raise a good sum of money for Macmillan Cancer Relief and Pendle employees enjoy a bit of a difference on Friday by wearing their hats to work."
A donation box will be in Nelson Town Hall reception for any member of the public to make their donations.
