HE might be banned from Burnley but controversial comic Bernard Manning will be performing in Blackburn next week.

Manning appears at Northbar in Town Hall Street on Thursday, June 5.

The heavyweight comedian has been banned from bringing his controversial brand of humour to Burnley.

The local council decided to cancel his show at the Mechanics Theatre on October 11.

Northbar landlord Ronnie Brown said: "It promises to be once again a cracking night from Bernard and all fans should get down and see him."

Tickets are £12. For information and to book contact Ronnie on 01254 682620.
