ATHERTON churches, schools and the Church Army are combining for a week long series of community events.
Mission week runs from June 8-15 featuring visitors from Namibia, daily services, a barbecue, brass band music, a faith lunch and a walk to Rivington. Events venues are St John's, St George's and St Philip's and a community evening at the Formby Hall discussing the church's present and future role in Atherton.
