NEWCHURCH WI will learn about complementary therapies at their next meeting.
The talk follows a successful visit by Mrs J Yates whose subject was "Sugar and Spice" -- an introduction to Billington's unrefined sugars interspersed with amusing episodes in her life.
On June 5 members will visit the Royal Exchange Theatre and on the 17th take a trip to Ness Gardens and the Lady Lever Art Gallery.
The competition for a pair of sugar tongs was won by Mrs D Brierley with N Gowans and J Osborne in second and third.
The next get together is on June 11 in Newchurch Parish Hall.
