REGARDING your report about Blackburn with Darwen Council's blitz on rubbish (LET, May 21), I have rung them on a number of occasions to try and get the land at the side of my house cleared of rubbish.
It must be two to three months ago now that I reported it and still nothing has been done.
As children sometimes play in the area I think that it is not only an eyesore but a health and safety risk as well.
The site is not as bad as some you have shown, but does seem to attract rubbish -- if you know what I mean.
