A TEENAGER was grabbed around the throat and robbed by two thugs in Whitefield.
The robbery happened at 12.25am on Saturday (June 7) in Ringley Road as the 18-year-old male victim was making his way home.
The offenders rifled through the youth's pockets before they fled with a mobile phone and his wallet.
Police are appealing for help in identifying the two robbers. The first offender was a black male, aged about 18, 5ft 7ins, of medium build with dreadlocked hair. He was wearing a black hat and dark clothing.
His accomplice was a white male, aged 17, 5ft 9ins, slim, with dark coloured short hair. He was also wearing dark clothing and a jacket with either 60 or 69 printed on the arm.
