LITTLE Jessica Spibey has always dreamed of swimming with dolphins in Florida.

And now thanks to generous workers at Holland's Pies factory in Baxenden her dream could be about to come true.

They have raised more than £2,500 for five-year-old Jessica, who has cerebral palsy.

Friends set up the Jessica Spibey Trust Fund in memory of her granddad Brian Nuttall, who died aged 58.

Her mum Sam said: "He loved Jessica to bits and always talked about doing something special for little Jess. When he died, there were no flowers just donations to the trust fund."

Sam and husband Tony, of Shelbourne Road, have strong links with the Holland's factory. Sam has just finished there after working for nine years in the transport department to spend more time with Jessica while her mum Phyllis has been with the firm for more than 30 years.

Now the family are deciding whether to use the money, raised through a raffle, quiz and disco, to go towards the special USA trip or for equipment to help Jessica.
