TOTTENHAM were today being linked with a move for Tugay in the London press.
A story in the Evening Standard claimed the player's representatives, Galaxy Sports Management, had been contacted by someone working on behalf of Spurs in relation to a possible move to White Hart Lane.
Galaxy's Simon Munir said: "We were contacted by somebody who claimed to be working for Spurs who said they were interested in Tugay.
"We said that until a deal is agreed between the clubs, we couldn't talk as the player has one more year on his contract."
