A WEBSITE aimed at helping youngsters in Rossendale turn their popstar dreams into a reality has been launched in the Valley.
Lee Robson, 28, of Venture Street, Bacup, has already snapped-up Kent singing sensation Declan Galbraith and American youngster Joey Pearson to feature on the website but the hunt is now on to find local talent.
Lee, who was born and brought-up in Bacup, wants to help young people reach their potential and in some cases help them sign record deals.
The former security guard, who has funded the website out of his own savings, said: "It has taken me about a year to get it fully off the ground but now it is up and running, I want everybody to know about it.
"At the moment we only have people from America and other parts of the country on the website but I want the website to be used by local people to help promote local talent.
"I know there is plenty of talent in the Valley and in other parts of Lancashire so it is important that people know that it is here to help them."
Lee is hoping to create funding through on-line advertisements which would be featured on the site.
Youngsters under 18 can take advantage of this unique site, with people under 16 having to have written permission from parents.
Lee added: "Anybody who has a singing talent should contact us and they could find themselves with their own page which could lead to bigger and better things."
The Young Voices website gives youngsters who love to sing the chance to have their own webpage, guest book which feeds back information, message board and readers polls.
