CHARITY liaison officer Cherry Grey enlightened Culcheth WI on her group's work to help women throughout the world.
Members heard how Associated Countrywomen World Wide help improve everyday living for women in many parts of the globe.
A bring and buy sale was organised to raise cash for the group.
The next meeting is on August 19 when vet Rupert Rees will talk about his work as a vet.
