HOPES were high this week that a buyer will be found for the factory, which laid off 22 of its workers after going into administrative receivership.
Morecambe-based Imperial Home Dcor has had interest flooding in say administrators Ernst and Young.
The company's Eleanor Harvey told the Citizen: "There has been lots of interest expressed. It is impossible to say whether the site will remain as a home dcor factory, but the aim is to keep the business going."
Imperial Home Decor, which blamed its difficulties on a fall in demand for wall coverings, has made no further redundancies.
