EVERY day across the North West alone, over 1000 blood donations are needed to make sure hospital patients get the life saving treatment they need.
The National Blood Service is urging the public to give blood. The following sessions are being held locally: St Joseph's Hall, Chapel Street, Leigh, July 17, 1.30-3.30pm and 5.30-7.30pm.
