STAFF at Pendle Council will be wearing their sunglasses to work next week for charity.
They will be taking part in the nationwide Shades for a Day event on Tuesday, for the benefit of The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association.
Rachael Haworth, organiser and promotions assistant, said: "I hope staff will enjoy wearing their shades for a day but, more importantly, feel good about contributing towards a good cause.
"If any member of the public who would like to make a donation to The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association, Nelson Town Hall will have a collection box on the day of the event in reception."
