WE are currently researching material for a book on the Lancashire film and music hall comedian, Frank Randle. It is not intended to be in-depth, but more a collection of stories, anecdotes and the like.
There are countless stories of Randle's antics both on and off stage, most concerning his fondness for drink.
Randle toured for many years with his own show, 'Randle's Scandals' and appeared in the East Lancashire area on several occasions. Perhaps some of your readers may actually have worked with him, or met him.
Any stories or information would be gratefully received. Photographs and theatre programmes would also be useful -- these would be returned quickly.
