JOHN Kimmons Walton (LET, July 30) sounds more like a member of the Labour Party than a historian at the University of Central Lancashire.
East Lancashire isn't anywhere near being the Fascist capital of Britain.
Perhaps Mr Walton travels around Lancashire with his eyes closed. There is more prejudice than pride in his remarks.
