A 31-stone professional disc jockey was convicted of a serious sex attack on a teenage boy, after a five-day trial at Manchester Crown Court.
Frederick McClure, aged 40, of Wigan Road, Leigh, was remanded in custody for a medical report. He will be sentenced next month.
McClure, who has mobility problems and uses arm crutches, had denied the alleged attack at his former Stretford home more than 20 years ago.
Prosecutor Timothy Brennand said it was the Crown's case McClure had shown "an unhealthy interest" in the boy, then aged about 14.
There was a strong element of grooming and he had taken the victim for rides on his motor cycle.
In his home, McClure showed him a pornographic film and then manhandled him to his bedroom.
Despite a struggle, the defendant subjected the boy to the serious sex attack and two further indecent assaults.
Mr Brennand said the boy was terrified and warned to say nothing to anyone about the incident. He kept it secret until last summer. Then he saw the defendant at a social function, felt he could remain silent no longer and complained to police.
The jury, after five hours of deliberation, convicted McClure of the serious sex offence and two indecent assaults.
