HAVING read about the man who pleaded guilty to five counts of rape and three of sexual misconduct (LET, August 9), I cannot understand how he can receive only eight years' imprisonment.
If he had done these crimes to adults rather than to helpless children, I have no doubt he would have received a much longer sentence. I am shocked and disgusted to think that this man will ever walk the streets a free man again.
