FIRECREWS turned their hoses to their own fire station when it was attacked by a firebug.
A burning piece of newspaper was thrown through a window at Lancaster fire station at 7.30am yesterday (Wednesday). Crews quickly put out the small fire but one room was left with smoke damage.
"It's a sign of the times when a fire station is attacked and we are really not pleased at all," says sub officer Phil Moran.
