A SNOOKER club has planned a celebration night after winning its league and going 30 matches undefeated.
Akzo Nobel Sports and Social Club on Anchor Road, Darwen, won the Blackburn and Darwen Conservative snooker league which was played at clubs throughout the borough from November to March.
Mayor councillor Mike Barrett will present the ten-man team with the league trophy on August 24.
Team member John Wark said: "It should be a really good night. We will have Darwen duo Scarlet Web performing on the night and are welcoming members and guests who would like to come along to the event."
