MORE than 300 people packed into Hindley Labour Club to discuss ways of tackling crime.
MP Andy Burnham, senior police, housing officers, and local councillor Stuart Shaw all pledged to fight crime and agreed a 10 point action plan aimed to curb the growing rise in violent crime and serious criminal damage Hindley is experiencing.
The panel also proposed for an alcohol ban in Hindley town centre and the Borsdane estate.
