A MOTORCYCLIST was killed when his vehicle collided with a 4x4 car pulling out of a petrol station.
William Karl Robertson, 23, of Royshaw Close, Blackburn, suffered fatal injuries as a result of the crash, which took place at 8.10pm yesterday.
Traffic police are now appealing for witnesses to the accident, which occurred as the Honda 4x4 pulled out of The Park service station in Whalley Road -- the A666 -- in the Brownhill area of Blackburn.
Fire crews were called to the scene but were not required to provide assistance.
