THE key moments and player ratings from the game against Leigh RMI.
ACCRINGTON STANLEY
JON KENNEDY: Made some assured touches on his full debut and played it safe with clearances. Always looked to find a red shirt 8
PETER CAVANAGH: Contained wingback Andy Heald well, made some important challenges and sent a number of searching balls forward 7
STEVE HOLLIS: Another solid performance from the left back. He covered well on the few occasions that Leigh threatened 8
ROBBIE WILLIAMS: Good at spotting openings to get Stanley on the attack but didn't know his own strength at times. Marshalled Robinson well 7
JONATHAN SMITH: Made a superb tackle on Neil Robinson in the first half to stop him going alone in the box. Strong in the air as usual 7
ANDY PROCTER: Another busy game for the midfielder. Never afraid to run at the defence 7
GORDON ARMSTRONG: Superb game for the experienced midfielder. Kept his passing neat and precise 8
PAUL COOK: Typically intuitive display. Went close to insitigating opening goal with a peach of a crossfield pass 8
LUTEL JAMES: Scored two real poacher's goals and was unlucky not to complete a hat-trick before pulling up with hamstring strain 8
PAUL MULLIN: A much more confident display on home territory and took the vital third goal well to give Stanley the cushion they needed 8
DEAN CALCUTT: Provided quality deliveries into the box to set up a host of chances. Manager John Coleman was delighted to see him bang on form 9
