NO wonder staff are Bury-based corporate mobile communications dealer Pennine Telecom are wearing sunny smiles.

For they are celebrating after the Salford Street company scooped £1,000 in holiday vouchers in a national incentive scheme, supported by Nokia, Orange and mobile phone distributor, Mainline.

Richard Evans, sales and marketing director and company co-owner, was delighted when he heard Pennine had been successful in the major national promotion.

More than 100 leading Mainline dealers throughout the UK were targeted on both sales performance and growth on the Orange and Nokia brands over a three month period.

Sean Lynch, cellular business manager, collected the prize on behalf of Pennine Telecom from Mainline managing director Andrew Boden.

Said Sean: "We are delighted to receive recognition of our success. The award reflects not only on the company but also on the efforts of our excellent staff and team spirit.

"It is a benchmark of our progress in a very competitive market place. We are also pleased to acknowledge the value of our customers in helping us gain this accolade."

Andrew Boden commented: "Pennine Telecom has always proved to be hugely successful. "Richard and his team have put a lot of hard work into becoming one of our premier telecoms companies."
