IT WAS all hands on deck for Blackpool Lifeboat Station's open day at the weekend. Saturday's sunny skies and calm seas were a far cry from the sort of conditions normally faced by lifeboat crews -- but visitors exploring the station were able to meet some of the brave volunteers and see life-saving craft and equipment for themselves.
