LYTHAM batsman Jack Kelliher was amongst the runs again last week, with an impressive 125 as Lancashire under 17s faced Warwickshire at Kenilworth.

Jack helped his team to an impressive 370 all out.

"Unfortunately I was run out," said Jack: "But I was pleased to have batted for two sessions. Spending four hours at the wicket is just what I needed as my club form has been a bit shaky of late.

"At Lytham on Saturday our nightmare start was just one of those things, but the record 4th wicket stand between Warren and Jimmy was fantastic to watch"

This was Jacks second century in a few weeks batting for Lancashire U17s. "It was a good track and I felt at home. To be honest, I feel I could have done even better," he added.

It was a remarkable week for Lytham batsmen playing for Lancashire. On Tuesday, Guy Roberts top scored with 77 for the U16s against Yorkshire in Leeds.
