THOUSANDS of people are expected to descend on Barrowford this weekend for the 81st Agricultural Show.
After a break of two years the show is back and months of planning have gone into making it one of the best ever.
There will be all the usual competitive animal classes, including the children's pets, dogs, cattle and sheep.
And there will also be horticulture, arts and crafts and confectionary classes.
The show will have a display of vintage vehicles, competing to win the best in show and, for the first time, there will be a display of military vehicles.
Organisers of the event say they have tried to ensure that there would also be plenty of entertainment for all the family in the showground, including a display by Burnley Dog Agility and one by duck herder Billy Heslop.
Dancers from the Sanderson's Dance and Fitness Centre will also demonstrate their dancing skills.
The show will also be packed with all the usual charity stalls and trade stands.
The fun starts at 9am tomorrow in Barrowford Park and Bull Holme playing fields.
