PLANNED parking restrictions for Barrowford, which have sparked controversy among residents, look set to be come into force.
Proposals for double yellow lines at the junction of Pasture Lane and Appleby Drive attracted two letters of complaint to the council, which has also received a 43-strong petition in support.
The plans were prompted by complaints that parked cars were affecting visibility at the junction.
A report from the highways, engineering and design manager will go before the Barrowford and Western Parishes Committee on Thursday at 7pm at the Civic Hall in Maud Street, with a recommendation to impose the restrictions.
