A NEW programme of courses for adults is being launched at Briercliffe Youth and Community Centre.
The courses, which include computer courses for beginners, holistic therapies, arts and crafts and basic first aid, have been put on by Lancashire County Council Adult and Continuing Education Service, based in Burnley.
Classes, which are being held during the day and in the evening, run for five weeks during September, October and November. The Mayor of Pendle, Councillor Mohammad Iqbal, will launch the courses at a special taster event at the centre, on Monday, September 15, 6pm to 8pm.
As well as information about courses and how to enrol, there will also be the chance to have a go at henna painting and other activities.
