FORMER Lancashire Mining Museum curator Alan Davies will present a talk and slide show on the history of mining in Lancashire at Tyldesley and District Historical Society meeting which starts at 7.30pm on September 18 at Tyldesley Pensioners' Club in Milk Street.
Refreshments will be served and entrance is free -- although voluntary contributions are welcome.
