GARDENERS gathered their best flower and vegetable specimens at Tyldesley Allotments' Association show.
Jim Salisbury and Frank Edlington caught judge Roy Stott's eye with Frank taking an armful of awards including the Gilman Cup and Jim receiving a Blue Ribbon merit certificate plus the Harry Kay Trophy. And Roy could hardly miss Ian White's truss of tomatoes weighing a whopping three pounds and two ounces.
