Regarding the letter in Dear Massi in the August issue about melas I would wholly agree that it is difficult to take your families to one.
I visit the occasional mela and find it is just another pick-up point for people. It's not all the young people's fault because there are very few places where they can meet each other.
I think it might a good idea for the mela organisers to designate certain areas where families can relax and not have to be pestered all the time.
