THE lady members of Clitheroe Golf Club competed in special competitions to celebrate the 90th birthday of their oldest member, Connie Hindle.
Connie provided the prizes for both golf and bridge competitions and at a special presentation she received cards and gifts from members.
Connie has been a member at Clitheroe for 47 years, having previously played golf at Accrington Golf Club and Enfield Golf Club.
After the presentation, more than 60 members enjoyed bucks fizz and birthday cake.
Winners of the bridge competition were Kath Fisher and Doreen Underwood, with Alice Foster and Anne Pedder runners up. Winner of the 18-hole stableford was Kath Townley with 39 points after card play off with Charlotte Toms. Senior 9-hole stableford was won by Betty Trueman with 23 points.
