I was shocked to read the account of the woman who was in a relationship with a man who tried to justify his actions through Islam. Islam teaches us to treat women with respect and as equals.
There will always be certain people in all communities who will try to use their limited knowledge to their own advantage. I feel for the woman and think it is important she does not generalise. There are far too many people already doing that.
