A TEENAGER was viciously beaten and robbed in a Bury subway in the early hours of Monday (Sept 1).
Two men jumped out of bushes near the entrance of the subway under Peel Way as an 18-year-old was walking through.
The victim was struck across the head with a weapon and, when his jumper was pulled over his head, was punched and kicked.
The robbers escaped with a mobile phone and a credit card.
The first attacker is white, 5ft 7in, and wore a white Adidas tracksuit, black trainers and a baseball cap. The second man was described as white and approximately 5ft 8in.
