TWO communities are teaming up to beat crime on their estates. The Larches and Savick Community Association are behind a move to create a giant neighbourhood watch scheme taking in all their residents
Residents would use radios to keep in touch, but now they need volunteers to help in the first stages.
Roger Baines, a neighbourhood watch coordinator in the area, said: "This is a pilot scheme. Hopefully we can get everywhere secure and get the trouble down."
Volunteers are needed to help hand out leaflets and spread news to their areas. To help call Roger on 07743 902412.
