CLUBBERS wanting a sweet end to the weekend could do worse than check out Jumpin Jak's on Sunday - because Mark Freejack's giving out the lollies!
Possibly Lancashire's best-known DJ, and our columnist, is into the second week of a 13 week residency at the St Peter Street club this Sunday.
And any hopes of keeping his stash of lollipops a secret were soon blown out of the water soon after arriving for his first stint last weekend.
Said Ribchester-based Freejack: "I've given up smoking so I'm always carrying a load of lollipops with me, which I use when I have a craving.
"Anyway, one girl sees me with a lollipop, asks for one and next thing I'm mobbed by dozens of girls after them.
"I think it's started a tradition. I'll be bringing them down again this week!"
The night is called Industry, and runs until 12.30am. Jumpin' Jak's opened just over a year ago and almost instantly became the place to go, not least on a Sunday, normally a quiet night out in Blackburn.
Mark said: "It's definitely one to get down to early because it does get full. Last week was a great laugh.
"Basically, I turn up with a bag full of tunes, which includes the classics, R'n'B and Hip Hop, and we just have a good time... and give out lollies as well to most of the female population of Blackburn!
"You get people in there who are having a laugh and aren't too bothered about a bad head in the morning. And, of course, there's always a bit of drunken debauchery and a lot of semi-clad women!"
