WINNING exhibits and selected entries from the 'Eyesores in and about Darwen' photographic competition 2003 will go on display to the public at Darwen Library from September 20 to October 10. Prizes for Darwen Civic Society's 15th annual exhibition will be, for over-16s, £30, £25 and £20, and for juniors, up to 11 years and 11 to 16s, will be £20, £15 and £12.
There will also be a special prize for children who undertook project work and entered through their school.
The closing date for entries, which must be prints not slides, is September 15, and must be taken to the library reception desk.
Prizes will be presented by Mayor of Blackburn with Darwen Coun Mike Barratt, at the library on September 24 at 6.30pm.
