THE buzz around Colne became even louder this week with the loan signing of Neil Reynolds from Clitheroe.
The midfielder hasn't played for 18 months and has joined the North West Counties Division Two leaders to assist his recovery from an injury lay-off.
"It's a great loan deal for us," said Colne boss Paul Lynch, who will include Reynolds in the squad at home to Maine Road tomorrow.
However, there are injury concerns for Lynch, who is looking to lead his side to their seventh straight league win and increase their lead at the top, which is already six points.
Jason Heffernan, has a broken ankle, Gary Rishton and Gavin Cooper are both nursing groin strains and James Webster sustained a swollen ankle in last weekend's win at Darwen.
Lynch said: "We've got a decent squad of 18 or 19 quality players so I've been rotating it anyway to keep it fresh.
"You can't get a better start than five wins out of five and it's nice to get that gap early on."
