THERE has been an increase in house burglaries in the Rosegrove area recently. Police are asking people to be vigilant, keep outside doors and windows locked, especially when property is empty, and to consider post coding property.

RESIDENTS of Rosegrove and Lowerhouse are invited to a public meeting on Monday, October 13, at 7.30pm at Lowerhouse canteen, Lowerhouse Lane.
Items for discussion include the fight for the village green, the public hearing, and the lodges.
HOW about this for a jean-ious way of raising money? Pupils from Rosegrove Infant School held a denim day at school last week and raised more than £100 which will be donated to the Royal Manchester Chidlren's Hospital, Pendlebury.
AGE Concern will be at Rosegrove Action Group shop on Lowerhouse Lane on Monday, October 13, from 9.30-11.30am. Residents are invited for a coffee and a chat.
MORE volunteers are needed to plant bulbs at the Peace Garden on Rosegrove Lane/Liverpool Road, tomorrow at 1pm.
THE good as new sale, held at St Mark's Church recently, raised £160 for church funds.
