Manchester Dogs, Home is seeking an affectionate owner for one of its long-stay dogs, Skippy, who was admitted to the Home on August 28.
He was picked up from a Manchester Police Station as she had been found wandering in the Withington area.
Skippy is a medium-sized bitch, mostly white with black and brown markings. She is a young dog, approx. two years old. Although she has not been neutered, she is fully vaccinated and microchipped.
She has had some training as she will fetch a ball and sit on command and would respond well to further training. She is good on the lead.
Skippy needs an experienced owner with the patience to build up her confidence as she is nervous when she first meets people. She is very friendly once she gets to know you.
Home staff feel that she would be best placed with an older family or person where there are no young children or other animals.
She needs someone with the time and patience to give her the exercise she needs as she is a lively, playful dog.
The Home appeals to anyone who has the affection and understanding to offer Skippy a home, to visit the Manchester Dogs, Home.
Or if anyone has lost a dog resembling Skippy, please visit the Home to see if she is your dog. The kennels are open from 1.00 p.m. each day (except Tuesdays).Come and meet your new Best Friend at Manchester Dogs, Home.
