DRINKERS have been enjoying a host of award-winning real ales at a Blackburn pub.
Bradley Hollingsworth, landlord of The Postal Order, in Darwen Street, lined up 10 beers from around Britain for his beer festival which proved a draw with real ale drinkers.
The selection of beers included a drink voted Champion Beer of Britain 2003 by the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA).
The four-day festival ended on Sunday but saw lots of people take advantage of a £1.29 a pint offer.
As well as Harviestoun Bitter and Twisted - the Champion Beer of Britain - the pub also offered Daleside Bitter, a silver medal winner, and Triple FFF Alton's Pride, a bronze medal winner.
Other thirst-quenchers on offer read like a CAMRA wish-list - Jennings Cocker Hoop, Exmoor Beast, Tring Colley's Dog, Hop Back Thunderstorm, Shepherd's Neame, Bishop's Finger and RCH Pitchfork have all won industry awards.
Bradley said: "The beers were sourced from a wide range of brewers across Britain. I'm confident we offered one of the best choices of real ales in the area.
"The festival gave people the opportunity to enjoy an excellent choice of award-winning beers which are not normally available."
