I am a long-standing season ticket holder at Ewood with almost 50 years of watching the Rovers. There is no way Souness should even contemplate going. I do think some of his tactics and logic has been flawed this season (one up front, no wingers, getting rid of Berg as examples), but he is the best manager we have had at Ewood while I have been watching and I include Dalglish in that statement.
He will get it right and he will turn it round. The one basic is, even before scoring goals, we have GOT to plug the leak at the back. However boring, we have got to accept defensive formations and stop the rot.
