ST PAUL'S Church, Ansdell and Fairhaven, is holding a surplus stock bonanza at the Church Hall, Lake Road, this Saturday (November 1), from 10am to 3pm. Clothes, household goods and bric-a-brac will be on offer. Admission is free.

BISPHAM United Reformed Church Ladies Friendship Group will hold its monthly coffee morning in the church hall, Warbreck Drive, on Wednesday, November 5, at 10.30am, when parkin will be served. There will be various stalls and admission is 50p.

A SLIDE show entitled 'The History of Whitegate Drive, part three' will be given by local historian, Barry Shaw, at the Raikes Hotel, Liverpool Road, Blackpool, at 8pm on Monday (November 3).

Admission to the event, run by Fylde CHA Rambling Club, is 75p and all are welcome.

BLACKPOOL Jubilee Association is holding an Autumn Fair at Whitegate Resource Centre, Whitegate Drive, from 1pm on Saturday, November 8.

The fair will feature stalls and bric-a-brac.

Admission is by a 25p donation.

BLACKPOOL Scouts present their annual gang show at Blackpool Opera House from Wednesday, November 5 to Saturday, November 8.

Evening performances start at 7.30pm and a Saturday matinee starts at 2.30pm.
