GOVERNORS at a Stacksteads school claim inconsiderate dog owners are allowing their pets to foul the school playing field and playground.
They have warned that anyone caught letting their dog poo in the grounds of Holy Trinity Primary School will be prosecuted.
The governors said this behaviour was both anti-social and a health risk.
In their annual report, the governors also pleaded with parents not to park on the restricted areas outside the school, marked with zig-zag road markings.
They also asked them not to use the school car park or its entrance as a dropping-off or turning point.
The governors said their main concern was the safety of the children and they suggested that parents park in Newchurch Road, opposite the Rose 'n' Bowl, if they were dropping their children off in the car.
They said this would also help to reduce congestion outside the school.
