CUP glory is there to be enjoyed but Accrington Stanley striker Lutel James wants their giant-killing success over Huddersfield Town consigned to the history books.

The Reds face a big test tonight as they take on Nationwide Conference leaders Hereford United at the Interlink Express Stadium (7.45) and James says there will be no hangover from their party after beating the Terriers 1-0.

"It is back to doing business as usual," said James.

"The cup game has shown that this is a club going in the right direction to a lot of people, but for us it is a home game and we have to win our home games.

"There is nothing bigger than the league and while we have enjoyed our FA Cup win, we have now to dig deep and ensure we get a result in the league."

James, who has bagged nine goals this season, was confident that Stanley could again make home advantage tell against the top dogs, whose drive to return to the Football League since their relegation in 1997 has been inspired by striker Steve Guinan.

The 28-year-old, who spent six games on loan with Burnley from Nottingham Forest in 1997, has scored 11 goals this term, but James felt Stanley had nothing to fear.

"You would say that Steve Guinan is one to watch but we have shown that our defence can keep an eye on people," said James.

"They said that Andy Booth and Jon Stead of Huddersfield would need watching, but they looked no sharper than anyone else we have met this season when we played them on Sunday.

"We will adopt our businesslike manner and do our job.

"We were definite in our belief that we could beat Huddersfield on Sunday and I felt that, along with a few other sides this weekend, we showed that there is not much of a gap between League sides and those in the Conference.

"But we have to forget Sunday and get back to earth and win because the League is our most important target.

"Hereford are top and you could say they are a yardstick, but we have to concentrate on keeping our own form going - not worrying about what other teams are doing."

Despite playing on Sunday, Stanley boss John Coleman doesn't appear to have any immediate problems ahead of their clash with the Bulls and he could select the same side.

Hereford boss Graham Turner is also looking at a stronger squad to selevct from.

They suffered a 2-0 FA Cup first round defeat at Peterborough United on Saturday, but welcomed back Paul Parry after injury and extended the loan period of West Brom central defender Tamika Mkandawire. Their only major doubt is injured Andrew Tretton.

The reversal against the Posh followed a stunning 1-0 home defeat by struggling Leigh RMI at Edgar Street which ended a six match unbeaten run.
