WITH regards to a letter in your paper of November 6, A and S Kilmartin, Ormont Avenue, Cleveleys.
The rhetoric used by them I found both offensive and inflammatory, even though I myself have no involvement, people who deem it necessary to pursue a complaint through the proper channels are fairly law abiding citizens, not sad or bitter, as time and effort is required where to some, verbal abuse and a brick through the window would log their vengeful frustrations.
If the police asked for the noise to be turned down, this would suggest it was intruding into and on people's sleep. The old 'one-off'... it appears by their own words they have done it before. The age? 30-somethings. What does that prove? That they, I quote: "were having a good time and letting our hair down".
To also infer a wasting of people's money on the council's time, that is what it is there for to protect etc, in and by the use of powers and legislation, any breach of the rules, including probable anti-social behaviour (reasonable behaviour.)
