A THEATRE group will be entertaining an old friend when they perform Outside Edge on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the village's parochial hall at 7.45pm.
The play was last performed by Ribchester Amateur Theatre Society in 1986 and some cast members are playing the same parts.
It is set in a cricket pavilion and follows the fortunes of Roger, his assorted team and their complicated love lives.
Jane Flynn is producing and has chosen old hands Keith Flood, Julia Procter, Robin Simmons, Rebecca Parkinson and Judy Mallam, newcomers Rob Hindle and James McKenzie, recent star Kevan Thompson and a return to stage for Heather Charnley.
Tickets are available on (01282) 878530, the Ribchester Post Office or any committee member.
