ST JOHN'S Church Christmas Fair was held on Saturday in the school and Church House, and was opened by gold medal winning gymnast Craig Heap.
Father Christmas and Welephant were also in attendance, and there was a good turnout of customers at the various stalls.
The amount raised for church funds should be available shortly.
CHILDREN at St John's Primary School were posing for the school photographer today as he made his annual visit.
Lots of grandparents will no doubt be seeing the results at Christmas.
THE School are planning a Christmas Show for Tuesday, December 9, to Thursday, December 11, with tickets available from school later.
There will also be a Christmas Service in church on Wednesday, December 17.
THE Mothers' Union have recently enjoyed a slideshow by Richard Crook, entitled Silver Jubilee 1977, and a talk by Rev G Cansdale on Culture Clash in Kenya. They will hold their Christmas party at St John's Worsthorne on November 25 and non-members are welcome.
